Suicide is an end;
But it’s a beginning, too;
Not knowing Jesus Christ
Spells eternal doom for you.

Escaping turmoil now
Can ensure it forever;
Once it is carried out
The return from it is never.

Those who opt for death
See no way to live;
Escaping present pain
Trusts others to forgive.

Many need the option
Of losing a life of pain,
But only through the cross
Can death result in gain.

They must get rid of self,
Which is God’s goal as well;
Losing their life to save it,
The story they live to tell.

A past that is troubling
Exchanged for one that’s new—
Certain victory awaits
As He lives His life in you!
